This is what i used to do and i hope this gives you an answer.
A year back, i had my summer internships going on which means use of public transport daily for to and fro journey. While travelling back, the bus used to be heavily crowded since those were peak hours when a lot of employees’ set off for their homes.
In between those aspiring managers, software engineers, artists, i used to see few old, aged people standing in between, nestling themselves to the poles inside the bus or accommodating themselves after struggles.
I used a technique, which made a huge impact on my life. I used to board the bus, move back where a lot of people are ready to leave their seats, used to occupy those seats and ask those aged people to come and take them. Everyday, i followed the same procedure and although i couldn’t help everyone of them due to the bus being heavily crowded, it taught me an important lesson:
” Never give up a desire to help others’ to a future time when you will have money, possessions etc to do so. It is also about seizing those small opportunities and making them count. Help others’ without hesitation. God gives us a lot of chances, it depends on us whether we capitalize on them or not.”
help create opportunities for the less privileged, enabling them to secure sustainable livelihoods.Personal fulfillment:
Assisting those in need can bring a sense of personal fulfillment and purpose. Knowing that you are making a positive impact on someone’s life can be deeply rewarding and inspiring.
In conclusion, poverty should not be viewed as a problem solely faced by the less privileged, but as a concern that affects the entire humanity. We must make a commitment to eliminate poverty and hunger in all their various forms, allowing those negatively impacted by this crisis to achieve their full potential with dignity and equality, just as they were created by God. Additionally, it is crucial to address the widespread issue of poverty promptly and effectively by implementing viable strategies for eradication. This will ensure sustainable and inclusive growth for the underprivileged, society, and the entire country.
why it is important to help the less privileged
In addition to improving individual well-being, helping the poor can also have positive effects on society as a whole. Poverty and social inequality are often associated with higher rates of crime, unrest, and political instability.
